2025 June Newsletter

Hello Quilting Friends,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Mystery Quilt Along Maria.  I have enjoyed seeing pictures of your quilts.  For those of you that have not finished, keep working on it.  One way to make progress is to spend 10-15 minutes a day sewing.

About 30 bolts of fabric have arrived at the shop. Several different notions are now available. So click here to take a look at the shop. The shop is open 24/7 online or by appointment.

There are several events on the calendar.  Make plans to join me at Stone Soup Batiks for Happy Hour and Quilts on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Wine and hor d'oeuves will be available. I will share my Peony Breeze Quilt which is featured in the 2025 All Indiana Shop Hop magazine. My recommended templates will be for sale. I will share my technique for making all the half rectangles used in the quilt.  Stone Soup Batiks, 1355 N Bendiz Dr, South Bend, IN 46628 from 5:30-7:30pm. (Note the extended hours for this event.)

In July, Corner Curve Quilts will be a vendor at the CalCo Quilters' Quild "Quilts In Bloom" 2025 Quilt Show.  This show is Friday and Saturday, July 11 & 12, 2025 from 9 am to 4pm at the First United Methodist Church, 721 Old US 27, Marshall, MI 49068.
