Hello Quilting Friends,

Welcome to 2025 from Corner Curve Quilts. This year is going to br very busy. First is the Twisted Snowman class at Sew Happy Sales and Service in Niles, Michigan. It is January 10, 2025 and you can still sign up.

Class Description:

Twisted Snowmen Class. The cost will be $55.00 per student. The pattern and instructions are included with the class, and we will provide a printed copy to each student. Fabric will need to be purchased ahead of time or on the day of the class (come early is this is your plan). We will be using rulers that Michelle designed herself. Buying all three sizes of the half rectangle rulers is highly recommended. Michelle will create the applique pieces - eyes, nose and buttons and hand them out with your instructions. The class will be 3 - 5 hours and each student will leave feeling accomplished. Sign up today!

Note: If using the paper template from the pattern, then bring template material to create

plastic templates. Template plastic 14” x 20” is $18.49 from Corner Curve Quilts.

Day of class:

Bring your pattern (printed off at 100%), sewing machine, thread, pins, rotary cutter (with a new blade),

mat, paper & fabric scissors, seam ripper, rulers (ie. 10-1/2”or 12-1/2” square, 6-1/2” x 12-1/2”

rectangle), and fabric as listed above.

No prep work needed before class, all cutting and sewing will be done during this fun filled class.

Michelle will offer tips and tricks while making this adorable snowman quilt top.

In February I will be kicking off my third free Mystery Quilt Along. The fabric requirements will be posted on the website by January 20, 2025. The the first clue will be sent on Thursday, February 20, 2025. I am really excited about this design and hope you sign up to participate. Sign up for the clues. The sign up is at the bottom of the home page. The quilt along will last for seven weeks, just the right amount of time to get us to the end of winter.

March will find the shop participating in the Stir Crazy Shop Hop from March 7-March 16th. Planning for this great event is still in process and more information will be released soon. I will have passports availible for sale as soon as they are completed.

As the year rolls along, I plan to be a vendor at several quillt shows again this year. Dates and locations will be shared in another newsletter.

I continue to design and publish patterns. This year I will have three patterns published in Shop Hop Inc magazines. Patterns will be in Michigan, Iowa and Indiana Shop Hop magazines. All three patterns will use one or more of my accrylic half rectangle templates.
