Mystery Quilt Along

Hello Quilting Friends,
I will be starting a Mystery Quilt Along on February 11, 2021. It will last for 6 weeks with a new clue coming out every Thursday. The finished size will be 68" x 88"

Scrappy Quilts are fun and the more fabrics the better.  When selecting fabrics choose a wide variety; Like for the Red choose from a pale red (pink) to a deep dark red (Burgundy/almost Purple) and everything in between. Solids, Stripes, Small and Medium Prints will work well. If you use a large print, you might have to fussy cut the fabric to get the color you want.

Yardage is:

4 Yards Red

3 Yards Yellow

1 Yard White

1 Yard for Binding

This quilt along, will give directions for two different methods for each unit.

The 1st method will give the cutting sizes in a Cutting Chart and/or a template for each unit.

The 2nd method will be Foundation Paper Piecing.  The add a quarter ruler makes cutting the seam allowance much easier.  Shop for the ruler here.

Try both methods and see which you like the best. Then make the number of units listed for the clue. I will tell you how many of each unit will go in the whole quilt.  If you are not sure about the colors, then make half the units.
You should learn something new with every quilt you make.
